Articles of Association

Article 1: This organization is named Beijing Academy of Optometry (hereinafter referred to as "the Academy"), with the English name "Beijing Academy of Optometry", abbreviated as BAOPT.

Article 2: In accordance with the "Regulations on the Administration of Registration of Social Organizations", this organization is voluntarily established by optometry scientific and technological units and workers in Beijing. It is a non-profit social organization registered and approved by the Beijing Municipal Administration of Social Organizations.

Article 3: This organization abides by the Constitution, laws, regulations, and national policies of China; upholds the core socialist values; observes social ethics; and actively strengthens its own integrity and self-discipline.

Article 4: The purpose of this organization is to unite and organize a large number of optometry science and technology workers; to promote a spirit of keeping pace with the times; to implement the Scientific Outlook on Development; to abide by the national Constitution, laws, and regulations; and to implement the national guidelines and policies on optometry science and technology and health. To improve the professional level of optometry science and technology workers; to promote the popularization and promotion of optometry science and technology; to promote the prosperity and development of optometry science and technology; to promote the combination of optometry science and technology with economic construction; to serve the people's health; to serve the comprehensive construction of a moderately prosperous society; and to serve the socialist modernization construction.

Article 5: This organization adheres to the overall leadership of the Communist Party of China. According to the provisions of the "Constitution of the Communist Party of China", it establishes an organization of the Communist Party of China, conducts Party activities, and provides necessary conditions for Party organizational activities. The Party organization shall put forward opinions on important decisions, important business activities, large-scale financial expenditure, acceptance of large-scale donations, and the conduct of overseas activities of this organization. Article 6: The registration and administrative authority of this organization is the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau.
